U-3 is listed unsexed on purpose — its photographs predate our marker system, and we will not call a sex we cannot verify.

A bearded dragon egg backlit at day ten, showing the vascular network through the shell

Day 10 · candling

This is what fertile looks like.

A bright light held against the shell in a dark room. A clear egg is infertile. A fertile one lights up like this, and that fine red web running across it is a circulatory system.

By day thirty you can see the embryo itself — a dark mass low in the egg. We candle every clutch, we photograph every candling, and those photographs go to whoever buys the animal.

Almost nobody in this market shows you the inside of the egg. It is the part we would want to see if we were the ones buying.

The record

Sixty days, documented

Nothing here is a stock photo. Every frame below is Clutch CI-01, in order, on our own rack.

  1. 01 · 19 May

    Gravid

Ivory carrying. A female tests a lay box for days before she commits, then goes down and does not come up for hours.

Ivory, gravid, resting in the sand
  2. 02 · 11 May

    Set into vermiculite

Lifted without turning. The embryo attaches to the top of the shell within a day, and rolling an egg after that will drown it.

Fifteen bearded dragon eggs set out in a vermiculite tub
  3. 03 · Day 10

    Candled

Fertility confirmed by eye, egg by egg. Anything clear comes out before it can go off and take the rest of the tub with it.

An egg backlit during candling, veins visible
  4. 04 · 84°F

    Incubated

Fifty-five to seventy-five days depending how warm they run. Candled again mid-term, checked for mould, otherwise left alone.

A hatchling pipping, head emerging from the shell in the incubator
  5. 05 · 02 Jul

    Hatched

Twenty-three eggs, twenty-three hatchlings. They rest in the shell for up to a day absorbing the last of the yolk, then come out fast.

  6. 06 · Day 1

    Grown on

Individually housed, weighed, and photographed on a schedule. Sexed to the best of our ability before anything ships.

The animals behind the clutch

Small collection, worked hard, tracked properly. We do not sell an animal without knowing exactly what produced it.

Sire

Crimson

Ivory, Dam · Clutch CI-01

Dam · Clutch CI-01

Tangy, Dam · Clutch TC-01

Buying from us

How it works

Through MorphMarket

Every animal is listed on our MorphMarket store, so you get their buyer protection, their messaging and their shipping network. Local pickup in Holiday is welcome too.

Overnight, Monday to Wednesday

Approved overnight reptile courier anywhere in the continental US, typically shipped Monday through Wednesday for next-day arrival. We delay shipment when temperatures are unsafe at either end, and hub pickup may be required in extreme weather.

Live arrival guarantee

Your animal arrives alive and healthy, provided the package is accepted on the first delivery attempt by someone eighteen or older, and any concern is reported within one hour with photos. Full terms are on our MorphMarket store page.

Sex, honestly

Sex is identified to the best of our ability but cannot be guaranteed on a juvenile. We hold animals until we are as close to certain as we can reasonably be, and anything we cannot call, we list unsexed.

Genetics, honestly

Hets cannot be visually guaranteed unless they are genetically proven — ours are, out of this exact pairing. Colour and pattern change with age, shed, diet and lighting, and no breeder can guarantee a breeding outcome.

Payment plans

Available on any animal at $400 or more. A $50 non-refundable deposit reserves the animal and the balance is due within thirty days. Ask and we will set it up.

Your animal’s file

Clutch photographs, candling, pip and hatch — dated, and sent to you with the animal. You will have the picture of the day yours came out of the egg.

All sales final

Live animals are not returnable. We would rather talk you out of a purchase than sell you the wrong animal, so ask us anything before you buy.

Seventeen available. Twenty-one more in a few weeks.
